The Substance Abuse Directors Association of Alaska (SADA) is pleased to announce the 2008 Annual School on Addictions to be held at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel, May 5-7, 2008. Join us for this Alaskan tradition, the 34th Annual School on Addictions, as we explore the issues related to “Advocacy, the Key to Our Future”
Background: The Annual School provides the opportunity for counselors and other professionals to:
Earn continuing education credits,
Learn new skills to better help their communities,
Understand their roles as members of a skilled and important community of helpers,
Share with each other community successes,
Celebrate recovery,
Affirm that there is support for their skills and work.
For over 30 years more than 500 participants learn and teach at this important annual event. Your support makes this happen.
Who Attends: Addiction Professionals, Mental Health Counselors, Social Workers, Nurses, Marriage and Family Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, Case Managers, Prevention and Treatment Program Directors, Policy Makers, Administrators, Law Enforcement Officials, Educators, Community Leaders (Including Faith Based), Government Agency Professionals, Students, Drug Court Professionals, and all those that advocates for quality treatment services nationwide.
